Last updated October 2026
Think FabSwingers is tough for single men? Swinging Heaven is worse. In our own count of Swinging Heaven on 19 October 2026, there were nearly 24 single men for every single woman active on the site across the UK, and at the moment we checked, just 3 single women were online in the entire country. Below I break down the Swinging Heaven men to women ratio city by city, show you why couples are the real story, and explain what a single man can realistically do about it.
23.6 single men for every single woman on Swinging Heaven UK-wide: 10,775 men against 456 women active in the last 30 days, plus 4,474 couples.
Online at the moment we checked: 157 men, 3 women and 74 couples. That is about 52 men for every woman.
Worst city for single men: Leicester, at 38.0 men per woman. Couples outnumber single women about 10 to 1.
One thing to keep in mind all the way through: these are counts from one site on one evening. They are true totals rather than a sample, but some cities have so few women that one or two profiles swing the ratio, and I have flagged those.

How we counted
On Monday 19 October 2026, at about 10:30pm UK time, we ran Swinging Heaven’s own member search and read off the totals. Unlike our FabSwingers study, which had to sample because Fab caps its search results, Swinging Heaven showed full counts with no cap, so these are true totals. Every figure is profiles active in the last 30 days. For the UK-wide numbers there is no location filter. For each city we searched a 30-mile radius around the centre. We counted only. No individual profiles were opened or recorded.
The headline: 23.6 to 1
Across the UK, 10,775 single men, 456 single women and 4,474 couples had been active in the last 30 days. That is 23.6 men per woman.
Put another way, of the 11,231 single members active, only 456 were women. That is 4.1%. Count everyone, couples included, and single men make up 69% of active profiles while single women are just 2.9%.
The live picture is bleaker still. At the moment we checked, 234 members were online: 157 single men, 74 couples and 3 single women. Three. That is about 52 men for every woman, and single women were 1.3% of everyone online. In most cities, not a single woman was online at that moment.
Our FabSwingers study found 20.2 men per woman. Swinging Heaven’s 23.6 is 3.4 more men per woman, or roughly 17% more competition. The two sites were measured differently, so treat that gap as indicative, but the direction is clear.
Men per woman, city by city
Each city is a 30-mile radius, so nearby cities overlap (Leeds and Sheffield share members, as do Manchester and Liverpool). Never add the rows together. Figures in brackets are men, women and couples.
- Leicester: 38.0 men per woman (722 / 19 / 299)
- Leeds: 33.1 (662 / 20 / 290)
- Sheffield: 30.7 (706 / 23 / 308)
- Glasgow: 28.5 (228 / 8 / 98)
- Nottingham: 28.3 (538 / 19 / 213)
- Manchester: 27.5 (880 / 32 / 351)
- Brighton: 25.9 (285 / 11 / 108)
- Birmingham: 25.7 (771 / 30 / 325)
- Liverpool: 22.6 (632 / 28 / 263)
- Cardiff: 22.3 (312 / 14 / 165)
- Southampton: 21.9 (460 / 21 / 185)
- Edinburgh: 20.7 (145 / 7 / 61)
- Newcastle: 19.5 (253 / 13 / 98)
- Bristol: 17.5 (386 / 22 / 198)
- Norwich: 13.4 (174 / 13 / 61)
- Belfast: 6.1 (49 / 8 / 22)

Leicester is brutal: 722 men chasing 19 women, with 299 couples in the mix as well. Leeds and Sheffield are not far behind, both above 30 to 1.
Now the health warning. Seven cities have fewer than 15 active single women: Edinburgh (7), Glasgow (8), Belfast (8), Brighton (11), Newcastle (13), Norwich (13) and Cardiff (14). With numbers that small, two women joining or going quiet changes the ratio a lot, so treat those cities as indicative. Belfast’s 6.1 looks like a single man’s paradise until you notice it rests on 8 women and 49 men. Among the cities with at least 20 active women, the range runs from Bristol at 17.5 to Leeds at 33.1.
Couples are the real story
Couples outnumber single women on Swinging Heaven by about 10 to 1 (4,474 against 456). In Leicester it is nearly 16 couples per single woman (299 against 19). There are 2.4 single men for every couple UK-wide, which is still a queue, but a far shorter one than the 23.6 to 1 queue for single women.
If you are a single man, that is the most useful number in this post. The women on Swinging Heaven are mostly not single. They are half of a couple.
What it means for single men
Same honest message as our Fab study, just louder:
Target couples, properly. Some couples are actively looking for a single man, and they want someone reliable, discreet and easy to deal with. Our guide on how to find a bull for cuckolding shows what many of those couples expect, and Swinging: Same Room v Separate Room helps you understand how they like to play.
Don’t rely on catching someone online. With 3 single women online across the whole UK when we checked, waiting for a live chat is a lottery. Write considered messages and expect replies later, if at all.
Make your profile the exception. At nearly 24 to 1, women and couples can ignore anyone with a blank profile or a lazy opener. A complete, honest profile and a message that shows you actually read theirs is the minimum.
Don’t take the silence personally. Most messages go unanswered because of the numbers, not because of you. Our piece on handling rejection on hook-up websites is worth five minutes.
Compare your options. No site we have looked at is easy, but some are less hard in your city than others. FabSwingers beats Swinging Heaven in 13 of the 16 cities we compared, with Swinging Heaven winning 3. I have put FabSwingers, Swinging Heaven and SLS side by side, city by city, in FabSwingers vs Swinging Heaven vs SLS: Which Is Best for Single Men?
Caveats
- These are full counts from Swinging Heaven’s member search at about 10:30pm on 19 October 2026, not a sample, but they are still one evening on one site.
- “Active in the last 30 days” includes members who logged in weeks ago, so it is not the same as being online now.
- Each city is a 30-mile radius, so circles overlap for nearby cities. Never add city rows together.
- The UK-wide figures have no location filter, so they may include a few overseas profiles.
- Cities with fewer than 15 active single women are volatile. Treat them as indicative.
- The FabSwingers comparison uses a different method (a sample with a recent-activity window), so the gap between the two sites is indicative.
- Counts only. No individual profiles were opened or recorded.
The bottom line
Our own count of Swinging Heaven on 19 October 2026 found 23.6 single men for every single woman active across the UK, about 52 to 1 among those online at the time, and couples outnumbering single women about 10 to 1. If you thought FabSwingers was hard, Swinging Heaven is harder. The single men who do well here will be the ones who stop chasing the handful of single women and start making a good impression on couples.
If you missed it, our FabSwingers men to women ratio study found about 20 men online for every woman, and the three-site comparison shows which site wins in your city.
